Four steps, agreed in writing
Brief, scope, research, deliver. The order matters: nothing is researched until the question, the sources and the fee are on paper.
From your first message to a document you can act on
Brief
You describe the opportunity, the decision you are facing and what you already know.
Scope & method
We agree the questions, the sources, the deliverable and the fee in writing before any work starts.
Research & analysis
We gather, compare and test the information, and write down every assumption we make.
Deliver & review
You receive the written output with sources listed, plus one review round to ask questions.
The handover points, and what you get at them

The scope is where the value is fixed
The scoping stage is deliberately slow. We agree what question is actually being answered, which sources are acceptable, what the deliverable will contain and what it costs.
A scope that is settled early is what stops a report drifting into opinion later on.
- Written questions, not a brief over the phone
- Named sources and a stated research window
- Deliverable contents agreed line by line
- Fee confirmed in GBP before work begins

One review round, then the file is yours
Delivery includes a review round: you read the document, and we answer questions on its content. Anything beyond that is quoted separately.
We do not retain control of the material. The report is yours to keep, share with a lender or partner, and check against the sources we listed.
- One review round included as standard
- Answers on content, not new advice
- Document prepared for sharing
- Confidentiality maintained throughout
Tell us what you are weighing up
Send a short description of the opportunity and the decision in front of you. We will come back with a scoping brief that says what we would research, which sources we would use and what it would cost.
